About me

I’m a second generation holistic massage practitioner that uses intuitive techniques passed down to me from my Mother and my Grandmother.

My journey has been everything but linear; but to keep things relevant, I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Massage Therapy and practiced incessantly for the following 3 years. Times got rough and I found myself working as a Research Associate for the Stanford School of Medicine. My massage practice became minimal, but during that 10 year tenure I developed a profound understanding of many scientific disciplines through my work and my personal studies. What became a career at Stanford saw its final days when my being began to report all the ways in which it was feeling neglected. Not long after, I was in unbearable pain and discomfort that I couldn’t stand or look down for 3 months - I was bedridden.
When I chose my health, I faced the harsh reality that I was working a job that was not good for me nor was it my purpose. Simply put, my heart wasn’t in it and I did not want to dedicate my action potential for that particular type of work. I figured I had learned so much in the laboratories of Stanford that I could use that knowledge and apply it to my wellness. I felt a call-to-duty and realized my experience was only my preparation. I quit my career at Stanford and picked up where I left off in the arts of wellness.

Now, I am loving every bit of life as I work alongside you in wellness. You will find me continuing my studies and practicing massage privately or publicly in collaboration with other esteemed trainers and therapists. You will find that I’m in good spirits and better for having gone through a hard time. And last but not least, you will find me at Stanford still lending a hand in experiment because this time my whole-being is no longer neglected.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and I look forward to learning about you.

Sincerely,

Jasmine
